Individualized support for children and families navigating complex circumstances.
Guided by experience. Rooted in empathy. Shaped by community.
-
Integrity Family Services Ltd. was founded by Les Thibedeau - having spent over two decades supporting children and families in the Cowichan Valley.
Our team is guided by the belief that healing happens when a family is grounded in safety, stability, and compassionate support.
The cornerstone of our practice rests on the idea that every child deserves a voice at the table. Our job is to listen, understand, and advocate.
-
We support children and families through supervised access, outreach, and individualized care.
Whether in the home or in a neutral setting, we meet families where they are - helping to identify unmet needs and connecting them with the right supports and resources.
We work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure care is consistent, individualized, and responsive.
-
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based practice. We recognize the impact of lived experience and approach each family with empathy and respect.
We prioritize emotional safety, dignity, and cultural awareness, ensuring that every interaction is thoughtful, non-judgmental, and responsive to individual needs.
We believe in building on existing strengths and supporting families in a way that is empowering and collaborative to achieve long-term stability.

Services are available to families referred through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
Supportive Access & Family Enhancement
We provide calm, predictable environments where families can connect safely and consistently.
Visits are thoughtfully supervised with a focus on safety, emotional comfort, and relationship-building, supported by a consistent staff presence.
Our approach is trauma-informed, respectful, and non-judgmental, with clear, objective documentation and ongoing collaboration with professionals to support stability and continuity.
Child & Family Outreach
Through in-home and community based support, we assist children and families in navigating everyday challenges within their own environment.
Our focus is on identifying unmet needs, strengthening routines, reducing barriers, and connecting families to helpful resources.
Collaboration & Case Coordination
We work closely with social workers, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure services are ministry-aligned and outcome-oritented.
Through consistent communication and shared understanding, we facilitate wrap-around care that reflects the needs of each child and family.
All documented observations are factual, objective, and focused on supporting communication between families and professionals. This helps ensure transparency and accountability.
Our role is to contribute to a cohesive, well-informed support network.
